Stroke Recovery Support Group
This group is designed to reach out to recovering stroke survivors. We meet to share our stories of
varying degrees of success, a sense of being understood, and of optimism for the future. Join us on
Sundays from 12 to 2 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Call Barbara Searcy for more

THE DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY LIVING SPACE
This is the topic of the video being shown at our next meeting on Thurs., March 21 at 10
am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Not only will this video explain certain
stages of dementia but will give you great insight into how slight changes in the living
area of the challenged person can make it so much easier and safer for them. This is a free
program. Come learn! It is open to ALL CAREGIVERS.
Before attending the meeting, drop your loved one off in the Arts & Crafts Room. We will
entertain him or her with exercises, games, and live entertainment. Your loved one does not
have to participate in anything he or she doesn't want to. We do whatever it takes to make your
loved one happy for the two hours you attend the meeting. Thank you to Paul Alloway, his brother
Lance ,and Carrie Sudweeks who entertained in February.
