As we step into the lively month of March, the Garden Club comes alive once more! Join us on Mon., March 13, from 10 am to 12 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. This year holds a special milestone as we celebrate 30 years of our club's history with the eagerly-anticipated annual Activities Day. Prepare to be transported through time and captivated by our journey. At this special event, our dedicated committee chairs will step onto the stage, where they will not only share the rich history of their respective committees within the Garden Club, but also unveil their visions and plans for the upcoming year. They will extend a warm invitation to all attendees, encouraging you to join their respective committees and become a vital part of our growing community. So, mark your calendars for this inspiring event, where Activities Day will not only inform and inspire you but also offer you the chance to actively participate in the world of gardening. Prepare to be delighted and welcomed into our garden-loving family. We look forward to seeing you there. March is a month of significance for gardeners, as it not only brings St. Patrick's Day but also heralds the awakening of nature after winter's slumber. This celebration of green is a reminder of the vibrant, lush world that awaits in the coming months. It's a day to revel in the beauty of your garden, perhaps adorned with shamrocks and greenery, while connecting with the rich cultural traditions of Ireland. Some gardeners may even take this opportunity to plant a shamrock or two, symbolizing luck and growth in their gardening endeavors. As spring unfolds, St. Patrick's Day serves as a joyful reminder of the incredible transformation that gardens undergo, echoing the rebirth and renewal celebrated by those who cherish the earth and all its green treasures. It's a time to reconnect with the earth, feel the soil beneath your fingers, and witness the first signs of nature's rebirth, which can be invigorating and therapeutic. So, grab your gardening tools, don your gloves, and immerse yourself in the beauty and promise of the garden in March. Happy gardening!
