I hope you will all be patient and understanding. A little inconvenience now will be worthwhile when finished. Our kitchen will be closed March 18 through March 22. We need to replace the kitchen floor for the safety of the staff. March 15: We're back with the Motown Magic concert by Corney Mims & the Know-It-Allz. Don't forget to make a reservation for dining before the concert. March 16: You'll want to purchase your tickets early as we put our Irish on for the annual St. Patrick's Day celebration. Listen to Delaney & James while enjoying Chef Chris's Irish American, traditional, Paddy's Day feast that includes corn beef and cabbage, potato and carrots, and lots of side dishes. I was asked a hard question to answer: "What do Irish people drink?" I answered … quite a bit, LOL! Guinness is always popular and there's plenty of other Irish drinks all month long. Enjoy our Irish Mule, Leprechaun Martinis, Irish Coffee, Irish Mist, or Nutty Irishman. If you're looking for a popular Irish drink that's not overly strong and that can be nursed slowly, try Baileys. It's sweet, indulgent, and perfect for after dinner. Then, if by chance you overindulge, a well-known Irish hangover cure is the crisp sandwich — essentially some Irish potato chips sandwiched between two slices of buttered white bread. Try our SLCC freshly- made crisp chips nestled in a buttered dinner roll. Another cure for hangovers is a "flat 7Up" — 7Up with a splash of hot water. It's widely believed by the Irish that a "flat 7Up" can cure almost anything. March 19: The NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, commonly called March Madness, is a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion. The Sandwedge will be rockin! Enjoy anything on our Lounge menu or one of our special "Mad Baskets" — your choice of hot dog, burger or chicken wing basket. Add any 16 oz. domestic beer for an additional charge. March 29: National Vietnam Veteran Day when we honor all of our Vets. Come down and swap stories, shake hands, and enjoy the camaraderie with a community that is grateful to those who served. March 31: Don't miss our annual Easter Eggstravaganza … Chef Chris puts together a feast where there is something for everyone's taste. Easter is a time of new beginnings and we are looking forward to our renovated Restaurant & Lounge. Let's all be patient and understanding knowing that we are all doing our very best to make this transition as painless as possible. Please remember that our food is never microwaved; everything is prepared fresh. Chef Chris is very conscientious with where our foods are sourced from. Chef can prepare gluten-free and celiac-conscience dishes. This is your Restaurant; every effort is being made to try and accommodate your needs.
