44 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2024 | Karaoke Group Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes is open to membership for any Sun Lakes resident. The Chorale has five sections: Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Basses, and Baritones. Practice sessions are held on Monday from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. Prior to each concert additional practices for individual sections are held. Our 36th Annual Spring Concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4 at 7 pm, and Sunday, May 5 at 3 pm. Sheet music and learning materials are furnished to help even the novice enjoy the experience. You can sing in this men's chorus or enjoy a quartet experience with three other guys. Barbershop Chorus Actor and singer David Soul was best remembered as Detective Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson in the American television series Starsky & Hutch from 1975 to 1979. His other notable roles included Joshua Bolt on Here Come the Brides from 1968 to 1970 which also starred actor/singer Bobby Sherman. We lost David Soul Jan. 4, 2024. David Soul's hit recording of Don't Give Up On Us was a big hit in 1977. David Soul's TV acting and radio songs got me thinking about other TV stars who also had radio hits in their heyday. Here's a list of some of these stars with the name of one of their hits as well as the TV show they starred in.
