FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2024 45
January was a great month for Step it up Line Dancing. We had
our first Barn Burner for 2024 and it was a lot of fun. Everyone really
got into the spirit by dressing up in their best country clothes. The
event was catered by Thomas Catering and the food was great. It
was down home cookin' with fried chicken, baked beans, corn, cole
slaw, green salad, and apple cobbler.
We have a lot of new dancers who are doing a great job jumping
right in to learn the steps. Classes are held every Monday at 1 pm
and Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 pm to allow extra practice
and for those that still work to have an opportunity to come out and
dance. If you are one of those people who sees line dancing going on
at the different events in the community and have said to yourself
that you wish you could do that then you need to at least come to
a class to see if you like it. You have nothing to lose and the worst-
case scenario is that you will meet a lot of really fun people. See you
there! ~ Janine Rohrbacker
Step It Up Line Dance
The theme for January karaoke was Vietnam-era songs and people really stepped up with some
great music and even dressed the part. Each month features a special theme such as love songs
for the month of February and duets for the month of March. April will feature "One hit wonders."
Karaoke is held every first Tuesday and third Saturday of the month starting at 5:30 in the
Ballroom. As a reminder, you don't have to sing — you can just come out, order some dinner, and
enjoy watching your friends and neighbors put on a show for free!
