Veterans Day Ball 2024 We are preparing now to honor all veterans, past and present, for the 2024 Veterans Day Ball. If you are interested in joining the Veterans Day Ball Committee, please contact Linda Santana, 661-492-1799 or lindajsantana@ yahoo.com. Murrieta Mesa High School Theatre It's Senior Citizen Days at Murrieta Mesa High School with tickets $2 for anyone 55 and older. Please see Kara in the Activities Office for tickets. The show is Mean Girls on Saturday, March 9 at 2 pm. Ronstadt Revival Saturday, March 23, doors open at 6:30 pm. Join us for one special evening of all the hits of the legendary Linda Ronstadt. Shannon Rae and her band, Ronstadt Revival, will faithfully recreate the music of the legendary Linda Ronstadt, weaving in tales of Linda's incredible decades' long career. They will take you on a timeless journey of all your favorites, including, You're No Good, Blue Bayou, When Will I Be Loved, Tracks of My Tears and so much more! It will be cabaret style assigned seating. Tickets are $20 per person so get them before they sell out. Active Shooter Training Tuesday, March 26, 10 am in the Auditorium. The Murrieta Police Department will present this one-hour presentation to help prepare for an incident we hope will never happen. Officers who have expertise in critical incident management, including active shooters and rapid response incidents, will be available for questions after the presentation. Dinner and a Movie Wednesday, March 27, 5 pm. Watch Boys in the Boat after a dinner of Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, salad and dessert. Tickets are $18 per person. You must register by Friday, March 22. Popcorn will be available. Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30, 10:30 am. This is the event the grandkids have been waiting for all year, so get them down to the Auditorium for all the fun! With more than 1,000 filled eggs, photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting and dancing for the kids, all are sure to enjoy this free event. We will have refreshments and will be showing a movie at 12 pm. Community Yard Sale Saturday, April 6, 8 am - 1 pm. GET READY. The Colony's Community Yard sale is finally here, so get all your hidden treasures ready to sell or give away! This event is for Colony Residents and their guests. You may pick up a guest pass for the yard sale at any time at the reception desk. Residents who have registered for the yard sale can park on the street Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6, so pick up your special Yard Sale Parking pass at the reception desk. Registration forms will be available on The Colony Website. The Highwayman Sunday, April 7, doors open at 6:30 pm. "The Highwayman Show" pays heartfelt and powerful tribute to the timeless music of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. Tony Suraci, "The Highwayman," is a gifted and soulful vocalist who channels the spirits of all four voices in an exhilarating performance backed by a 10-piece band. Together they capture the essence of the mid- 70s outlaw country era. The show delivers the crowd-pleasing classics like Me and Bobby McGee, On the Road Again, Good Ole Boys, and Folsom Prison Blues — with the excitement of an encore from start to finish! Tickets are $18 per person with cabaret style assigned seating. Cinco de Mayo Party Saturday, May 4, 6 to 10 pm. Holy Guacamole! The Social Committee once again would like to invite you to our "Cinco de Mayo Fiesta." Francisco's Catering will provide us with a delicious buffet-style meal. DJ Nate will be providing us with our entertainment. In addition, a surprise guest will also provide us with special entertainment. Tickets are $25 per person. Assigned seating.
