The monthly
tournaments are back!
We had six courts going
in January and six courts
full of eager pickleball
players at February's
tournament as well.
The new system of
play is going gangbusters.
Since the changes, I have
been inundated with
requests to join the club. We are having a blast and continue to
make new friends. No reservations are needed, other than for the
tournaments. Just come on down and join the fun.
Come one, come all and play the fastest growing sport in the
country. Here is how it works, although these are not by any means
hard or fast rules: The hard-hitting, all -business players generally
play from 7:30 to 8:30 am. The intermediate players show up at
8:30-ish and go to 9:30 am. Then the beginners come at 9:40 am
and play until 10:30 am. After 10:30, it's free for all. Anyone who
just wants to get in a game or two, head down to the courts from
10:30 am until 10 pm; no reservations are needed.
We are a fun-filled and welcoming bunch. So come on down and
have a ball, a pickleball, that is. See you on the courts!

Clogging Classes
By Mary Seifert, 951-304-3503
If you would like to try something new, Beginner's class are
Tuesdays at 4:30 pm in the Auditorium. The class is only $5, with
the first being FREE, so you can try before you buy. Don't worry
about shoes; our instructor will loan clogging shoes until you
decide whether you want to buy your own.
Clogging is a form of American Folk Dance with taps on the
shoes. It's a great way to exercise your body and brain. Studies show
that dancing is a major tool in the fight against Alzheimer's and
dementia. If you're interested, please call me at the above number.
