About Carol's Kitchen: Carol's Kitchen was founded by Jim and Arlene
Ragan on April 21,1998, in honor of their daughter Carol who was fatally
struck by a drunk driver in 1996. Carol was passionate about helping those
less fortunate than herself. Her legacy is at the heart of Carol's Kitchen.
e very first meal that Jim and Arlene served was chicken enchilada
casserole, Carol's favorite dish. Today, Carol's Kitchen serves their free hot
meals eight times a week from Beaumont, Banning, Cabazon, and San Jacinto.
In addition to serving 5,000 meals per month, Carol's Kitchen provides slightly
used clothing, some groceries, and other various goods to families in need
throughout our community.
Solera at Oak Valley Greens will accept clothing donations for Carol's Kitchen
following the conclusion of Solera's Garage Sale on April 27. Donations can be
delivered to 1519 High Meadow on April 27 until noon on April 28. Donation
receipts will be provided.
