| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2024 | 27
Can you believe it is April already? The clocks jumped ahead last month, giving
us longer days, and more hours to quilt! The rain is behind us, leaving in its wake
the beautiful backdrop of every shade of green you can imagine. Gazing out
across our fields blanketed in colorful flowers stimulates the creative mind to start
designing those unique and uplifting spring quilts. Whether piecing together or
applying applique techniques, utilizing all the fabulous choices of uplifting spring
fabrics mirrors nature at its best.
It is with this in mind that Seasons Quilters will begin their next project as a
group. Pooling ideas from both seasoned quilters and novices just getting started,
the individual uniqueness of this wonderful craft comes together through design.
Stay tuned for the ultimate decision we make⦠who knows, it may be the decision
that motivates you to join us!
One of the photos shown of our very active space was captured by Diane Best.
When leaving the room, enroute to the Bistro for our lunch gathering, Diane was
moved by the space we share and the time we spend enjoying each other's company.
The other two photos of quilts were submitted by Cleta Colston and Janet Graham.
Our Club meets EVERY Thursday, (except the fourth Thursday) in the Arts &
Crafts Room from 10 am to 4 pm breaking for lunch at the Bistro at 12:30 pm. April
meetings will be the 4th, 11th and 18th. Curiosity seekers are always welcome, and
of course new members are actively encouraged!
