| LIFE IN SOLERA | APRIL 2024 | 9 There are two important dates to remember for this month: April 24 and April 25. Here is why: April 24 is the last day the Inspectors of Election can receive ballots for our Election for the Board of Directors by mail. This date is usually mid-May. Be sure to mail in your ballot in time to be received by April 24. April 25 is our Annual Meeting. Should you miss the mail-in date, you may hand deliver your ballot to the Inspectors of Election prior to the meeting beginning. Please remember it is April not May. Also, April 24 the New Resident Welcome Advisory Committee ambassadors are hosting our "Social Gathering" in the Oakmont Rooms beginning at 6 pm. All residents are welcome to join this event. We will invite a representative from each group and club to join us. This is a good way to meet the clubs/group you may be interested in joining and gather information and/or sign up. There will be light refreshments served. This part of the "Social Gathering" will end at 6:40 pm. At 6:45 pm the presentation of "Living in a HOA" will be given, ending around 7:30 pm. The new residents from Oct. 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024, will receive an invitation in the mail around April 15 as a reminder. You do not need to have an invitation to attend, nor do you need to be a new resident. Remember to vote and attend our "Social Gathering" and presentation "Living in a HOA."
