Woodchucks
Spring has finally sprung, and even though
the rainy days are done(hopefully) living in the
So. Cal. "desert" we have learned to appreciate
the rainy season. Now we can look forward to
spring cleaning! On that note, if you find some
long-neglected hand tools or power tools that
are looking for a new home, please consider donating them to the
Woodchucks! If it's an item we need for our Workshop, we will put
it to good use-if we already have one, we will sell it or pass it on to
one of our Toy Makers for their endeavors. The proceeds go to our
on-going projects, including Community work and the Renowned
End-of-Year Toy Drive that benefits the Camp Pendleton YMCA.
Do you know one of the best College Woodworking resources
is right in our backyard? Palomar College's Cabinet & Furniture
Technology courses are open to anyone, and the summer classes
are opening for registration SOON. Most are college credit courses
but can be great fun for students of all ages
and backgrounds. Yours truly is among many
OHCC Residents who have benefited from
this program. These may have intimidating
names, but the instructors are top-notch and

Inspiration Hill
As we walk the trail at Inspiration Hill, we are always impressed by the varied community inspirations as expressed on the Donor Bricks.
The trail begins by honoring our pioneer OHCC Founders, and continues with those who so bravely served us. There are bricks honoring
family members, beloved pets, and favorite universities.
What is your inspiration? The HOA continues to take orders for your own personalized bricks. Fill out an order form at the HOA office, and
include a check for $75. Your inspiration brick will help line the trail to the top of the hill!
