Miracles do happen. e first day of March turned out to be
perfect for our Paddle Tennis Tournament. ere was no rain on
our tournament day for the first time this year! e round robin
format was fun, and it had a good mix of players of all levels.
Still standing with the most games at the end of it all were Darla
Gonzalez for the women and Tom McClure for the men. Hmm,
where have we heard those names before? Congratulations to
both of you!
Linda and Pat Kight hosted the Racquet Club Valentine's Dinner,
and it was a very delightful evening, with great Chinese food for
dinner followed by the gied singer Antoine Caspari to dance by.
Whether you play a racquet sport or not, you are still welcome
to join us for our dinners--the more the merrier! Membership is
only $10 per year.
Now that we are starting to see sunny days again, the courts will
be bustling. It will be great to see you there. If you wish to learn
or just want to brush up on your game, give John Knitter a call
at 951-805-2456 for tennis or Karen Nichols at 619-550-8194 for
paddle tennis.
