Shirley is one of those folks who sees a need and offers her help. Even though she is a full-time caregiver to a family member, she still finds time to provide assistance to a neighbor. Team Sunshine Caregiver Support Meetings: Join us the first Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am at Suzanne and George McGowan's home (7747 Dutra Drive). For information, please call Suzanne at (831) 905-6203. Team Sunshine Programs: On March 26, Team Sunshine held our first Sunshine Program since the pandemic. Paul Lavigne, Four Seasons resident, engaged attendees in his presentation of Legacy Planning – "A Final Gift." Save the Date: Oct. 3 – Fall Sunshine Program will feature Brian Adkins, who will share stories and insights as an active member of the FBI. Health Fair: Team Sunshine will once again sponsor the FREE Health & Senior Resource Fair and Barbecue on May 16, 10 am to 1 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Free services include blood pressure checks, Pulse Ox, spinal exam, BMI and more. Celebration of Life: Members of Team Sunshine were honored to assist the family of Jerry Smit with a beautiful celebration of life on Mon., April 15. We invite you to join us at an upcoming meeting on the first Monday of the month at 10:30 am in the Ballroom and see what we are all about.
