| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2024 | 29 Bocce has officially started the season with three games played and only one rain-out, far better than last year where we played only one game and the rest of the season was a total rain-out. We can say we are lucky so far and we can only hope that Mother Nature can be easy on us and not rain on the weekends. Usually, committees and clubs must write an article the month before it is published and sometimes we can make a statement but it does not turn out that way. You will have to wait until the next article is published before we learn if Mother Nature wanted us to play Bocce this year. On a more positive note, the Bocce BBQ committee will be getting together to decide when we will have our BBQ and when and who will be doing some of that outdoor cooking and serving. This year, I have asked Dan Ramos to be BBQ Chairperson for this year so he will be contacting his volunteers. We did get a lot of people that signed up to help so do not feel bad if you were not part of the BBQ committee. The rest of us can enjoy eating some good food prepared on the grill. Let's all keep playing bocce and enjoy meeting our friends and neighbors and see which team gets the win. All our players enjoy playing bocce so we can say win or lose, we always have a great time being out there on a Sunday afternoon especially when it did not rain. Good luck players. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson (951) 926-8295 Bocce Do you have an interest in learning to play pickleball?
