FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2024 63 Our BFFG held our first quarterly tournament of the year. We did something a little different this time. We had two separate sessions that day. The first session team winners returned to compete against the second session winners. The first session team winners were Steve Leflar and Butch Bonot. The second session team winners were: Pat Semler and Donna Hendzel. These two teams had to play the best two out of three games for the championship. Pat and Donna took the first game and Steve and Butch took the second and third games to win the championship. All three games were played very well by both teams and were enjoyed by all the other players who stayed to watch! We encourage everyone to come down to check out our Billiards For Fun Group on Tuesdays from 11 am to 1 pm and 1 to 3 pm. Everyone is welcome. The new tables will be delivered after the carpet is installed and, hopefully, before the end of April. Just know everyone's game will improve! The "Wild Bunch" is in full swing, and looking forward to having those who are serious, competitive billiards players join us. We enjoy playing 8 Ball, Scotch Doubles, and 9 Ball. You don't have to be the best player, just a player who wants to improve their game in a more competitive setting. The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the league, and we are always looking for great competition. Some of these players are Joe Spinella, Bob Rector, Paul Snyder, Mike Fisher, Dave Anderson, Scott Frymire, Dave Martin, Gary Condurachi, Brad Hodge, Verina Rector, Gracy Luna, just to name a few. If you want to play serious, competitive pool, we invite you to come by the Billiards Room Friday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:30 pm and join in the stimulation of competitive play.
