Our presenter Anoud Mohammad gave an excellent presentation. Knowing and following the rules in Sun Lakes is important. Here are some of the changes from the Redline Rules & Regulations that you can find online. Article IV – General Rules 4.02 Community 1. Trash containers will be covered and are to be stored in the garage or behind approved screened fencing so as not to be visible from the street, any public right of way, common area, or golf course. Refuse, garbage and trash shall be kept at all times in covered sanitary containers. Trash containers, shall not be placed at the curb of the street for pickup for a period that exceeds 12 hours before and aer the scheduled trash collection. Trash containers must NOT be placed on the sidewalk. 3. Only battery powered golf carts (excluding golf course maintenance vehicles) are permitted on the Association golf courses. Gas and battery powered carts are allowed on the Association common areas. Specification for acceptable golf carts is available in the pro shop. Obtain this specification document before purchasing a golf cart that will be used within Sun Lakes Country Club. 9. Roller skates, roller blades, skateboards (excluding mobility assisting devices) and playing of ball games are prohibited within the common areas of the community, including all golf course property. 20. Smoking of all substances of any type including but not limited to tobacco, marijuana, vaping, and electronic cigarettes is prohibited in all clubhouses, including the veranda. Smoking is also prohibited within 25 feet from any facility entrance. Article V – Planning & Compliance 5.01 Parking and traffic 11. No person may operate an automobile, motorcycle, golf cart or any other motorized vehicle within Sun Lakes unless that person has a current, valid state-issued driver's license. 5.02 PETS 2. All pets (including cats) must be kept under the owner(s) direct control and on a leash not exceeding six feet at all times when outside the owner's residence. Non-compliance could result in a fine and/or loss of amenity privileges. 3. Owners are responsible for picking up aer their pets. Owners are responsible for disposing of their pet's waste (defecation) in a proper trash receptacle at their residence or the designated Pet Waste Receptacles around the community.
