I'd venture a guess,
most of our residents
took a glimpse (or
more) of the solar
eclipse on April 8.
We even have some
photos to prove it.
e next total solar
eclipse that can
be seen from the
contiguous United
States will be on Aug.
23, 2044. If that's too
long to wait, there
will be one Aug. 12,
2026 visible over
Greenland, Iceland,
Spain, Russia, and
a small portion of
Portugal.
