Four Seasons Players Wine Club Greetings fellow wine aficionados! Looks (and feels) like we're skipping into our infamous summer months. Remember, a chilled Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc go well on a warm afternoon. Toss in a sweet Moscato… nice choices for the coming warm months! In April, we enjoyed an evening from Europa Winery in Temecula. C'est Le Vie wines were presented by Preston Early. He demonstrated how to properly open a champagne bottle… six twists of the bottle to hear a delicate "puff." Europa offered 20 percent off any orders and 40 percent off if anyone joined their wine club! Wine club made charcuterie boards for the tables. In the future, we will have Europa back to present Vienza and Bolero wines! New members are welcome. $30 for annual membership, $10 for monthly meeting, $15 for guests. Checks accepted. Please bring two wine glasses for tasting and anything fun you would like to share at your table. The Wine Club will again provide a charcuterie plate for each table that will match our tastings. Ballroom doors open at 5:30 pm. Don't let June Gloom get you down. Come to TGIF and share some wonderful food with others. Bring a dish to share with eight to 10 people. If you don't want to share you can bring your own meal. Bring yout own table setting (plates, silverware, napkins and beverage of choice). Come and enjoy an evening of dining, raffle prizes, dancing and karaoke (for those of us who like to sing).
