Dedication Of Memorial Plaque For Dick Burnside (7/8/1993 to 2/5/2024): On May 1, a group of evening pickleball players, Four Seasons representatives, and friends of Merilyn Burnside, came to the pickleball courts to honor the life of Dick Burnside. Dick had been an avid evening pickleball player and friend up to the time of his unexpected passing on Feb. 5, at the age of 90 years old. e dedication began by reading a summary of Dick's amazing life. A champagne toast was made to honor Dick. Several of Dick's friends shared fond stories of Dick. Dick's wife of 43 years, Merilyn (known for her FOXYKNITS business), received a plant and card, with recorded thoughts, to keep the memories fresh. We truly miss Dick's presence on the pickleball courts. Having the bench and plaque will help to keep Dick's memories in our hearts.
