What better way to experience this bond than through the practice of yoga with adorable puppies? The Four Seasons Tails and Trails group partnered with our local Haven Pet Center — a 100 percent adoption-guarantee shelter — to offer a Puppy Yoga event and donation drive. The event brought together yoga enthusiasts and puppy lovers alike for a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment attendees stepped onto the lawn at The Summit, they were greeted by an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The sight of adorable puppies frolicking amidst yoga mats instantly lifted spirits and set the stage for a morning of pure delight. Led by our experienced yoga instructor Sandy Schafer, participants embarked on a journey of wellness and connection, guided by the soothing flow of yoga poses and the playful energy of their furry companions. Laughter filled the air as puppies mingled between mats, offering impromptu cuddles and kisses to yogis in need of a furry pick-me-up. In a world often characterized by hustle and bustle, the Puppy Yoga event provided a welcome respite — a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and laugh. But more importantly, the event generated lots of food for kittens and puppies as well as monetary donations that will be used to keep homeless pets happy and safe until they find their forever family. As the event ended, participants enjoyed treats and mimosas at The Summit and shared their uplifting memories of being visited by the sweetest puppies as they did the downward dog pose. The resounding success of the Puppy Yoga event serves as a testament to the power of wellness, community, and, of course, the irresistible charm of our furry friends.
