FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2024 7 The Banning Pointe Warehouse court hearing on March 15 resulted in the Pass Action Group (PAG) winning a bias claim against Councilwoman Mary Hamlin. As reported last month, PAG attorneys and attorneys representing the City of Banning will draft a Writ of Mandate. Once filed, the court will review the Writs of Mandate and make a decision. The issues that the Pass Action Group did not prevail on, such as the CEQA issues, the General Plan, and the Specific Plan, are currently under review by PAG to determine if an appeal is warranted. As of this writing, the court has not issued a Writ of Mandate which in turn will be served on the City of Banning by PAG. The court has said it is due to a backlog that the Writ of Mandate has not been issued. More information will be provided as the court process moves forward. The Beaumont Pointe Warehouse Project has not been reviewed, and a decision on the developer's request has not been completed by the Beaumont City Council. The City Council has not set the date for the hearing as of the writing of this article. If a date is set by the City Council, we will have the information posted in our Daily Report and on our website. Thank you to the Four Seasons residents and Board members who have attended the Planning Commission and City Council sessions on the warehouse project. More information to follow. ~ Jerry Monahan, Board President Read the Breeze monthly for updates BEAUMONT POINTE & BANNING WAREHOUSE UPDATE
