FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2024 9
Here's a fun line up for June starting with our Four Seasons
Handbell Choir Concert on Thursday, June 6 at 6 pm. There is no
charge for admittance and everyone is welcome. Light refreshments
will be served. Next, Gail Lindeboom is back with the ever-popular
Trivia Pursuit on Friday, June 7 at 6 pm. One of the best surprises is
that we'll be playing for Stacy's Kopper Kettle homemade pie slices,
yum, yum, yum! This is one sweet event played with all of your
favorite neighbors. This will take place in The Lodge Ballroom.
On Saturday, June 8 at 5:30 pm, we'll have our Second Lodge Loggia
Concert. We've got an exciting swing band coming and we'll be having
a "dance-off " for the best swing dance couple. This is going to be a
themed dance with old fashioned soda fountain food for purchase.
Stay tuned for the menu line-up to be announced in the Activities
Blast. Come and get your free wristbands starting Saturday, June 1 at
The Lodge front desk.
Calling all Four Seasons Crafters! The next mandatory Craft
Boutique meeting will be Wednesday, June 12 at 6 pm in the RCN.
This meeting is for those crafters who would like to participate in
the Oct. 12 Craft Boutique. Just a little inside information — we
didn't have more than a couple of tables that were sponsored by guest
vendors. The talent at the Four Seasons is tremendous and growing,
so if I were you, I would be slow to tell someone that you'll sponsor
them for the boutique because there may not be any tables left.
Next, we have the Performing Arts Club sponsoring Karen Belcher
for a Motown/ R&B "Name That Tune." We all play by tables and
the entire table wins a trophy if they win! This fun time takes place
on Friday, June 14 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. No charge for
admission.
Karaoke will take place on the regular third Saturday this month
at 5:30 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Be sure to bring your favorite
beverages and snacks as well as your favorite song to wow your
neighbors.
Finally, this next Amphitheater concert on Sunday, June 23 is
something completely different from anything that we've ever had!
The band is called The Musies. This is an incredible band playing
Broadway rockin' music. These folks are energetic, interactive, and a
blast to watch! Check out Mark Lassen's article for more information
and I'll see you there! ~ Cindy Graves
