The Veterans of Sun Lakes is enjoying its expansion of both
membership and in-particular the Board of Directors/Executive
Committee. With our official status on the Sun Lakes CC website,
information and applications are now available to all Sun Lakers with
a simple tap on our name. We invite all Sun Lakers, both Veterans,
family members of Veterans as well as all Sun Lakes residents who
support our military to come to our meetings and participate in
volunteering for any number of our committees, which include:
Mentorships, Sponsorships, Social Activities, Public Affairs and
more, with unlimited ways to help us meet our Mission Statement,
outlined on the website.
While constantly changing and growing, as of early May, 2024,
we are pleased to announce the following individuals serving our
organization: Executive Director is Will Baker, USMC. Vice President:
Steve Baez, USMC. Branch Representatives are: Chris Gonzales,
USA, Ed Luna, USAF and Space Command, Navy Rep is pending.
Additional Branch Reps include Don Stairs and Bruce MacDonald,
USMC. Our all important Board Member Gloria Pena, leads our "Also
Served" Committee and our VA Benefits Analyst is Beverly Reneau.
