In June, we welcomed Chef Ross Carter
and Chef Jonathan Weiner from the
Beaumont High School Culinary Program.
They demonstrated making homemade
tomato soup and gourmet grilled cheese
sandwiches (the ultimate comfort food!).
Each attendee was given a sample of the
soup and sandwiches.
We also welcomed Chaise Jordon,
a graduating senior from Beaumont
High School Culinary Program and this
year's scholarship recipient. Chaise is an
exceptional student with a 4.2 GPA who
plans to study Food Science at the University
of Alabama. The Bon Appetit members
were excited to award Chaise with this year's
Scholarship.
As always, we couldn't put on these
events without the help and support of our
awesome club members! Thank you for
your enthusiasm! We are glad you are here
and hope you have a wonderful time at our
events.
Our next event is scheduled for Fri., July
5 at 1 pm in the Oakmont Room and the
theme is "Celebrate America with Desserts."
This is a dessert potluck event with a
demonstration of a "somewhat healthy
dessert." You all are welcome to join us,
