GOLF CLUB June started with the first of two rounds for the Club Championship. Low Gross leaders were Bob Umeck, Dave Scott, Mike Davis and Alan Forbes while Marty Anderson, Glenn Bradd, Jerry Stearn and Tony Smith were Low Net leaders. The Solera Golf Club Spring (AKA Memorial) Dinner was held on May 31 this year. In addition to remembering our past golf club members who are no longer with us, the club celebrated its 20-year anniversary by honoring two of the four founders Gary Stoh and Bob Kroft. George Shrader was not able to attend and Connie Boudoin had already passed away. We also voted on adopting amendments to the Club's By-Laws, recognized Anderson as our 2024 Match Play Champion, held a raffle, and generally had a great time. Special thanks to Ed Young (pies and ice cream), Rene Johnstone (gift basket from Toyota of Redlands), and Shirley Slick (souvenir golf ball cabinet). Wrapping up May's play was the club's Memorial Tournament. The game was a Net Scramble format. First place finished with a tie between two foursomes at net 51.
