Golf Group Anyone wishing to join our group can join. We presently have 30 members. We play different formats: blind draw 2-man teams, four man scramble, etc. Handicaps are used to determine scores. If you do not have a handicap, we will provide you with a temporary handicap until you have sufficient scores posted. Handicaps are adjusted monthly. We play two courses on a rotational basis — Hemet Landmark on Wednesdays and Menifee Lakes on Thursdays. Winter months we start at 8 am; during the summer we start at 7 am. Knitting, Crochet, Needlework Group "Chicks with Sticks" We are a group of ladies that enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlework, etc. and just getting together to have fun. Wednesdays, 10 am, Silverwood Room. Library Group Our purpose is to maintain the community library located in the hallway outside the Ballroom. As a member you will serve occasional volunteer shifts to accept new contributions and restock returned books. Line Dancing Group Join our line dancing fun every Tuesday evening at 5 pm and Sunday afternoon at 2 pm in the Ballroom. The idea is to promote fun by learning dance steps. It's great exercise, good for both balance and memory, and lots of laughter. Our motto is "no dancer left behind." Memoir Writing Group Where your stories matter! Join us from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on the third Monday of each month. A memoir is a story woven from your experiences Bible Study Group Women's Please join us as we explore the Bible together and enjoy fellowship with other ladies living here at SDV. Book Group – Hooked on Books If you enjoy reading and often wish that the people you know had read the same book so you could compare your thoughts and feelings with them, then Hooked on Books is for you. Second Wednesday, 1:30 pm, Silverwood Room. Chair Yoga & Exercise We do chair exercises to music (DVD). Join in the fun and laughter along with easy exercises. Bring and craft or art project you enjoy working on and join others who like to create. It's fun to work in a group and great to see what others are making. Firearms safety & Sporting Group All residents are welcome to join us in our meetings. We are a group of people who are interested in all aspects of firearm information, safety, and ownership.
