Celebrate America with your friends and neighbors on Thursday,
July 4 at 11 am in the Mountain View Lodge and on the back patio.
Enjoy a day of fun with musical guests Showdown Band, a shaved ice
booth, popcorn, and outdoor games. Residents are welcome to bring
their own food and drinks. Lunch plates can be pre-purchased for $8
and will include: a hamburger, macaroni salad, or potato salad, and
a drink. (turkey burgers and black bean burgers will be available in
limited quantities). This will be a separate registration item.
SDV welcomes back Kirk Green, Sommelier, for this much-
anticipated wine & cheese pairing on Friday, July 12 at 6 pm. The
price for this class is $28 and includes the wine and cheese tastings.
For a picnic or for a formal dinner, cheese with wine is the ultimate
pairing, but with a myriad of choices, what wine goes best with what
cheese, and why? Kirk Green will explain it all in this class that blends
history, geography, and wine with a little cheese!
Join us for a night of laughs on Friday, July 19 at 6 pm as we host
three professional comedians on our Solera stage. This is always
a sell-out event so make sure to register early. Tickets are $20 per
person. You are welcome to bring your own drinks, but keep in mind
this event is stadium seating so there will not be any tables.
Take the short drive out to Storm Stadium for a night of baseball,
fun, and food as we watch the Lake Elsinore Storm take on the Visalia
Rawhide on Friday, July 26. The picnic starts at 6:15 pm, so come out
early to watch one lucky resident throw out the "First Pitch." The $45
ticket includes a Lot B parking pass, game entry, picnic, and fireworks
show after the game. The menu includes grilled BBQ and fried
chicken tenders, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, nachos, mac and cheese,
seasonal fruit, fountain sodas, and water.
