Stroke Recovery Support Group
This group is designed to reach out to recovering stroke survivors. We meet to share our stories of varying
degrees of success, a sense of being understood, and of optimism for the future. Join us on Sundays from 12 to
2 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Call Barbara Searcy for more information at (951) 663-3382.
Caregiver Support Group
Happy Fourth of July, Sun Lakers! I hope to see
each of you at the parade. The theme this year is
"Proud To Be An American." For those of you
watching from your carts, the parade carts will be
turning right out of the Main Clubhouse this year.
Our next meeting and support group will be on
Thurs., July 18 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room. There is no guest speaker
this month. This will give each of you more time to
share, if you choose to, and also learn. This program
is open to ALL CAREGIVERS. Come see what we
have to offer. This is a free program to help you, the
caregiver.
We also have a program in the Arts & Crafts
Room for your loved one. We care for him or her
while you attend the meeting. We offer
live entertainment, exercise, games
and just plain fun. No one is forced to
participate. Thank you to Paul Alloway
for entertaining last month. Paul is
always so generous with his time. As of
this writing, it is not definite, but we are
planning on Pizazz and Fusion to entertain
this month.
