Welcome to July! Can you believe it? Where has the time gone!
The Travel Club Board would like to thank all who stopped by
for coffee and donuts (from Diamond Donuts) during the Ocean
Hills 40th Anniversary Celebration in May. It was wonderful to see
everyone.
We are excited to share our upcoming trips.
July 24 – Pageant of the Masters - We're off to this Club favorite
destination in Laguna Beach! Presented in an outdoor amphitheater,
this 90-minute show presents "living pictures" recreating works of
art, with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in
the original pieces. This year's theme will feature some of history's
grandest fashion trends from the splendors of royal courts to today's
catwalks. The cost is $165 per person. This trip is sold out; wait list
only.
Aug. 14 – FABBA - Join us for a FABULOUS afternoon/evening!
We'll start our evening with a Pre-Show Buffet at BJs in Escondido.
Then we're off to the Welk Resort where we'll enjoy seats in the two
front rows to FABBA! This show is America's most renowned, and
authentic tribute to ABBA. Enjoy hit after hit of classic ABBA hits.
The cost is $145 per person. This trip is sold out; wait list only.
Looking ahead, please save these dates: Nov. 14 (trip TBD) and
Dec. 17 for another Club favorite - dinner and a night of touring the
Christmas Lights around San Diego County!
Detailed trip flyers are always available in the trip rack located
near the Clubhouse front desk. Frequently people on a trip need
to cancel. So, many people on our wait lists actually have had the
opportunity to go on our trips.
To be placed on the waitlist or to register for any of our trips, leave
a check made out to the OH Travel Club, in the Travel Club envelope
at the Clubhouse Front Desk. Add $5 to the price if you are not a
member of the Club. You will receive an email confirming your
registration.
We certainly hope you will join us on one of our trips or at one of
our programs!
