Facilities Committee
Happy Fourth of July from Facilities! July brings warm
temperatures; it is time for fun in the sun.
In our spotlight for July is the new carpeting installation at The
Lodge.
As I draft this article, it is the end of May. The Facilities Committee
in our beautiful community is very busy — we just finished the
first round of carpeting in the Billiards Room and installed the
new billiards tables. We are also close to finishing the carpeting
projects for The Lodge. You will be seeing new carpeting in the
Billiards Room, Game Room, Library, Theater, Bistro, Ballroom,
and the FirstService offices along with the RCN Conference Room.
All of this is orchestrated by our FirstService staff, who have done
an outstanding job.
Another project in the works will be resurfacing and repair of the
pickleball, tennis, and paddle ball courts around mid to late June.
At the Paseo and Springdale condos, work will have begun to
replace the gazebos. This will be complete by mid-summer.
At The Summit, the new Game Room chairs should have arrived
in June.
We have many items on our agenda for our June and July monthly
meetings, continuing the work needed to keep our community
looking fresh and vibrant!
