As the old adage goes, "time flies when you're having fun," and it seems like our travel group is living proof of that sentiment. With the year already halfway over, we've embarked on some exhilarating trips, with plenty more excitement on the horizon. Our summer journey began in June with a delightful day trip to the iconic shores of Santa Monica. From strolling along the bustling pier to roaming the Farmers Market, it was a day filled with laughter, relaxation, and cherished memories. July will whisk us away to the picturesque beauty of Laguna Beach for the renowned Pageant of the Masters. Immerse yourself in the magic of living art as performers recreate famous masterpieces in an awe-inspiring display that's sure to leave a lasting impression. And as August approaches, we're gearing up for even more adventures. Our itinerary includes a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of Little Italy in San Diego, followed by a scenic two-hour cruise around the breathtaking bay area. Whether you're marveling at the skyline or spotting playful dolphins, this cruise promises to be a highlight of the summer. But the excitement doesn't end there. In August, we have a unique opportunity to embark on a six-day coastal journey aboard a luxurious, air-conditioned motor coach. Our destination? A captivating Yosemite/San Francisco Summer Escape. Picture yourself surrounded by towering sequoias in Yosemite National Park before exploring the vibrant streets of San Francisco, a city brimming with culture, history, and endless possibilities. As we reflect on the adventures we've shared thus far, it's clear that our travel group is not just about visiting new places; it's about creating meaningful connections, fostering friendships, and experiencing the world in all its beauty and wonder. So, whether you've been a part of every excursion or are just joining us for the first time, there's still plenty of time to make unforgettable memories together. Here's to the adventures that lie ahead and the countless moments of joy and discovery that await us on our journey through the rest of the year. Our July meeting features Kaithlyn Norman from Norman Travel. She has a wonderful South Pacific trip she will present. Join us July 20 at 10 am in The Lodge Ballroom for info on this trip and more.
