On June 2, the bocce teams celebrated their Awards
and Dinner Celebration to congratulate the teams
that won 2nd and 1st place for the 2024 Bocce season.
This year, only 10 teams were selected to participate
in the playoff competition, and as they got started,
after 45 minutes, four of the 10 teams were eliminated. Then came
the hard part, it was double elimination where teams had to lose
two games before they were out. From the early players to the last
of the players, we had our winners after seven and a half hours of
competition. For this month we will picture the winners starting
with second place. Pictured on the right is John O'Conner, Sandra
O'Conner, Toni Harris, and Rick Haag. Not pictured who helped
the team to win was Carol Weber. Coming in first place starting on
the right is, George McGowan, Rhett O'Campos, Mike Sheldon, and
Van Eychaner and not pictured John Pape. Thank you to the teams
who fought hard but did not quite make it. We will have pictures
of players who did some amazing things featured in the next few
