FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2024 43 Mark your calendar for the next Performing Arts Club event, Radio Theater, on Saturday Aug. 24 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. This free event features two short plays: "Chester's Dilemma" from Gunsmoke and "Gracie Runs for President" from Burns and Allen complete with sound effects. (see photos). Feel free to bring your own refreshments and enjoy the table seating. Auditions for the December holiday show, e Grinch Explains It All, will be held Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Performing Arts Club members will be sent a description of characters and the size of each part. Short scripts will be provided at auditions.
