At our June meeting we approved the tile
lettering colors concept: Army-green; Navy-dark
blue; Marines-red; Coast Guard-gold; Air Force-
light blue; and Space Force-black. As of July 1, we
have 32 names. We would like to have 48. We need
the rank and branch of service for each name.
We will need help when building the platform.
We have sufficient funds to purchase the
materials and will send out a notification to all
registered members of the construction date. ~

To prepare for the Fourth of July celebration, we gathered to make
holiday wreaths. We used red, white, and blue cloth strips. Ribbons
and f lowers were also available to add a finishing touch. The energy
and enthusiasm could be felt as soon as you walked in the room.
As the Divas worked on their wreaths, they shared ideas with one
another. When everyone was finished, you could see that no two
wreaths looked alike. Each one, like the Diva who created it, had
its own unique beauty. Sherry/Lady Glitter, our talented crafter,
showed us how easy and fun it was to make a wreath. Our other
talented crafter is Jeanette/Lady Violet. We are looking forward
to more of our events already on our calendars for this year —
