Congratulations to all the winners! Thanks a load to our Master Board, Recreation Committee, Restaurant & Lounge Committee, Restaurant staff, and EPAP operations. The Recreation Department couldn't have done it without you all being an essential part of this event. As you are reading this, the Recreation Department has lined up some great events leading into late summer and early fall, including Activities Day and the Halloween Dog Parade. Stay tuned for more fun and exciting events coming from the Recreation Department! ~ Linda Vang Message From The Recreation Department Manager The start of summer is official when we gather to enjoy our monthly Ice Cream Socials. Enjoy three scoops of ice cream with your choice of assorted mixed fixings for only $3 (cash only; while supplies last). Join us on the Veranda from 2 to 3 pm on the following dates: Aug. 12 and Sept. 9. (Location subject to change.) Ice Cream Socials Join us out on the Veranda the first Wednesday of the month for some wonderful entertainment. The multi-talented Renee Rojanaro will be out on the Veranda performing at "her favorite place." So please join us this summer on the Veranda to enjoy some great music and dancing on the first Wednesday of the month between 5 and 8 pm on the following dates: Aug. 7 and Sept. 4. Evenings on The Veranda No saving tables and or pulling tables together unless your entire party is present. In the lounge, if you are sitting at a table, you must be ordering food or drink. For your safety and for the safety of others around you, when possible, please ask a staff member to assist in moving tables or bringing out more chairs. Plasticware will be served on the Veranda during large events including Friday and Saturday night entertainment. Following the community rules is essential to ensure all residents have a pleasant experience here at Sun Lakes. REMINDER: LOUNGE & VERANDA RULES Our Music Under the Stars series is on the last Saturday of each month this summer. We hope you join us as we dance the night away.
