Team Sunshine resumes our club meetings on Aug. 5 at 10:30 am in the Ballroom. Please join us! Our latest Team Sunshine news to share… Sunshine's annual 90+ Birthday Party was a delightful celebration, featuring our very own Jazz group, a fun-loving clown creating stylish balloon hats for our birthday honorees, plus adorable puppy dogs sharing their love with all, and of course CAKE, ICE CREAM, and GOODY BAGS! We were honored to celebrate these amazing 90+ year olds in our community! Celebration of Life: Members of Team Sunshine assisted with a beautiful celebration of life for Stephen Anderson on June 20. The hosting families presented a red, white and blue theme, in honor of Stephen's service to our country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Sunshine has been notified of the following passings: Colleen Rosenberger, Marie Eckert, Dave Thorne, Robert Hughes and Carol Webber. We have reached out to these families to extend our condolences and offer our assistance if needed in planning a celebration of life. NEW Team Sunshine Cancer Support Group: We Understand. We Support. We Recover. Together. This new group welcomes and encourages all stages, as we learn more and support each other. Team Sunshine Caregiver Support Meetings: Meetings resume Aug. 7.
