Happy Campers RV Club
Happy summer heat, campers! Can you believe June and July are
already behind us? With two more months of high heat still ahead of
us, I wanted to talk about a couple great places to camp and possibly
get some relief from the heat.
The first is Lake Hemet. Lake Hemet has several choices for your
camping adventure. They have dry camp, partial hook up (water and
sewer), and full hook up. Lake Hemet offers individual and group
campsites for tent campers. Lake Hemet now offers luxury camping. This consists of a tent
cabin furnished with two queen beds. You get a lantern and two patio chairs. Each luxury
site comes with a picnic table and firepit. You also have access to bathrooms and showers.
There is a lot to do at Lake Hemet. If you are a fisherman or woman there is a healthy
population of Bass, Crappie, Blue Gill, and Catfish. They stock Rainbow Trout and Lightning
Trout. The marina offers boat rentals, both motorboats and pontoons. You can rent kayaks
also. For kids, they offer a brand new playground and seasonal swimming. Lake Hemet
offers The Cafe at Lake Hemet and the Lake Hemet Market for yummy food and supplies.
Check out their website at golakehemet.com for more information.
Oceanside California has a nice RV Park, Paradise by The Sea. This is a very nice, clean
RV park with full hookups. They offer a small market, pool, and hot tub. They are a short
walk to the ocean and a huge playground. Pets are welcomed and there is a nice walking
trail. This is a smaller park offering both back-in and pull-through sites. There are so many
great places to eat and explore. Did I mention it's on the coast? Check out their website

Wherever you choose to camp to close out your summer, enjoy the adventure and as always,
stay safe and happy camping.
