ADVERTISING Contact Image Up at (909) 797-3647 or email imageup1@verizon.net As residents of Hemet, it is essential for you to remember that the maintenance and upkeep of the streets and sidewalks with in the community fall under the responsibility of city authorities. The condition of these public spaces not only affects your daily lives but also impacts the overall safety and accessibility of the community. Concerns have been raised regarding issues such as raised sidewalks and cracks in the roads throughout the community. These issues can pose hazards to pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. It is imperative that we address these concerns promptly to maintain the integrity and safety of our infrastructure. To facilitate this process, the City of Hemet has established channels through which residents can report such issues. You can report raised sidewalks, road cracks, or any other related concerns directly to the city by calling 951.765.3712. Additionally, the city supports the use of the SeeClickFix app, which provides a convenient platform for reporting and tracking issues within our community. The SeeClickFix app is user-friendly and allows residents to report issues with ease. Whether you encounter a pothole on your daily commute or notice uneven pavement in your neighborhood, your report can make a significant difference in ensuring that necessary repairs are addressed promptly. By actively engaging with these reporting mechanisms, we not only contribute to the upkeep of the community but also promote a safer environment for all residents and visitors. Prompt reporting enables city officials to prioritize and address issues efficiently, ultimately enhancing the quality of our public spaces. Furthermore, proactive reporting helps in preventing potential accidents and injuries that may arise from neglected infrastructure issues. As responsible members of the community, it is your duty to play an active role in maintaining and improving the places you live, work, and play. I encourage each of you to take a moment to familiarize yourself with these reporting options and to utilize them whenever you encounter issues with the streets or sidewalks. Together, we can ensure that Solera Diamond Valley remains a safe, accessible, and welcoming place. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. GM Report By Irma Rabago, General Manager Resident Round Table, formerly Coffee with the GM and Board, will now be on the Tuesday before the Open Session Board Meeting: Tues., Aug. 27 at 2 pm.
