By Michele Walter Our Health and Wellness Expo was absolutely fantastic. We had great vendors and participation from our residents. ank you to Supervisor Gutierrez for bringing them to our community. Just a friendly reminder there is ABSOLUTELY NO alcohol permitted at any time at the Main Clubhouse pool. We could jeopardize our alcohol license if we abuse this ruling. Rules and Regulations 6.06 states: • Residents must sign in and register themselves and their guests when entering the pool and spa facilities. • Guests under the age of 16 are permitted to use the main and north clubhouse pools between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm when ACCOMPANIED by a resident. Children under the age of 16 must be out of the pool area by 2 pm. • Children under three years old are NOT allowed in the pool or spa. NO SWIM DIAPERS, DIAPERS OR TRAINING PANTS ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME for anyone. • Use of the spa is restricted to residents and their guests 16 years of age or older. Persons under the ages of 16 are NOT permitted in the spa at any time. • California State law prohibits the use of glass containers and breakable objects at the pool and spa facilities. • Smoking is not permitted within the gated area that surrounds the Main and North Clubhouse pool/spa. • Any violation of the above stated rules subject residents to possible disciplinary actions by the Association. HOW TO AVOID A SCAM! • BLOCK unwanted calls and text messages. Take steps to block unwanted calls and to filter unwanted text messages. • DON'T give your personal or financial information in response to a request that you didn't expect. Honest organizations won't call, email, or text to ask for your personal information, like your Social Security, bank account, or credit card numbers. If you get an email or text from a company you do business with and you think it's real, it's still best not to click on any links. Instead, contact them using a website you know is trustworthy or look up their phone number. Don't call a number they gave you or the number from your caller ID. • RESIST pressure to act immediately. Anyone who pressures you to pay or give them your personal information is a scammer. • KNOW how scammers tell you to pay. Never pay someone who insists you pay with crypto currency, a wire transfer service like Western Union or Money Gram, or a gi card. And never deposit a check and send money back to someone. Questions or concerns? Call Michele Walter at (951) 202-8009 or email crystalwater@dc.rr.com. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING. 6 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2024 | Community Awareness Program PLEASE REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS INDIVIDUALS, ACTIVITIES, AND THEFTS DIRECTLY TO BANNING POLICE DEPARTMENT BY CALLING 911.
