Team Sunshine's next meeting is Mon., Oct. 7 at 10:30 am in the Ballroom. Please join us! Here is our latest Team Sunshine news to share… Members of Team Sunshine assisted with celebration of life events at the Lodge for Colleen Rosenberger on July 28 as well as Carol Webber on Aug. 30. Cookies were provided to the family of Robert Hughes for a private gathering on July 26. Sunshine has been notified of the following passings: Linda Gentile, Sally Fleer, and Addis "Scotty" Scott. We have reached out to these families to extend our condolences and offer our assistance if needed in planning a celebration of life. Team Sunshine Cancer Support Meetings: Next meeting: Sept. 10, at 10 am at the Culton home, 8190 Parry Drive. This newly established group welcomes and encourages all stages, as we learn more and support each other. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month. Team Sunshine Caregiver Support Meetings: Next meeting is Oct. 3, at 10:30 am at the McGowan home (7747 Dutra Drive) and is facilitated by Chaplain Mark Ruybalid from VNAcare. Meetings are now held the first Thursday of the month. Should someone want to attend but need a helper to sit with their loved one, call Suzanne – she can provide names of helpful volunteers. For all inquiries, contact Suzanne at (831) 905-6203. e Caring Connection: If you have a Four Seasons friend or neighbor who is struggling with illness, loss or needs a bit of cheer, please notify us so we may send them a card and follow with a phone call. For those wishing prayer, a request box with prayer cards is provided in the Multipurpose Room for your convenience. Residents are invited to join us at our Team Sunshine meetings (first Monday of the month, 10:30 am in the Ballroom). With summer's best of weather and autumn's best of cheer." ~ Helen Hunt Jackson FBI Special Agent, Brian Adkins, joins us on Oct. 3 at 2 pm in the Ballroom! It doesn't take super-agent powers to figure this one out… Brian is son to Linda and Rick Adkins, both longtime, active residents of our community. This will be Brian's third visit here and is always a sensational hit. Please join us as he regales us with his own true stories of our nation's Federal Bureau of Investigation.
