We will be welcoming back all our Shuffleboard players on Sept. 12. Hope they are as anxious as I am to get the new season underway. Our seasoned players will be happy to help anyone who they can. Our goal is to have fun and maybe even make some new friendships. If you did not sign up and would still like to play consider being a sub. You can always play on your own just stop by the front desk and they will get you started. If you have any questions you can call Toni Harris (951) 325-8357 or Bobbie Davis (951) 223-3836. We have a few people interested in playing horseshoes. There is a horseshoe league that plays on Wednesday mornings at 8 am at different locations around Hemet. We practice Saturdays at 8 am. This fun and friendly club plays single and double formats every Wednesday morning at 8 am in summer, 9 am in winter, and twice a month in the evening at 5 pm. Normal play times are usually an hour or less. Come by and take a look on Wednesdays at the Plaza behind The Lodge.
