I hope you are all enjoying the summer!
First and foremost, thank you to Courtney of Image Up for taking on the
publishing of our magazine, starting with this issue. As in the past, the
SCCA has nothing to do with the advertisements in the magazine; if you

We had two great events in July: our Sock Hop held in Webb Hall and
the city-sponsored Shakespeare in Sun City held in the amphitheater.
We took a break in August with no events. However, in September, we
are happy to have the Dueling Pianos once again on Sept. 21 (more
information on page 7). If you did not attend last time, then you
will not want to miss them this time around!
There is not much happening on campus with projects. In the
past couple of months, we've replaced the roof on the admin building,
repaired the ice maker and added a mini split in the Webb Hall kitchen,
repaired a main water line in the parking lot near the upper lawn bowl,
replaced the water line above arts building and Crystal Pool restrooms, added
rock where there was none, replaced the mulch with rock, and restored the
amphitheater seats and
striping and added plants.
As mentioned in the July
Courier, the Memorial
Fountain area has been
rehabbed, including
the planters, and a new
monument installed.
