Happy September to all! We hope you had a wonderful summer
and are looking forward to fall.
We are currently searching for two volunteers to take over the
roles of President and Vice President of e Travel Club. e
current Board members will assist the incoming officers in their
transition to leading the club and organizing our trips. If we do
not find any volunteers, then we sadly will dissolve the Travel Club
at the end of the year. So please consider stepping up to save our

Here are our upcoming trips and general meeting.
Oct. 28, General Meeting and Presentation: We will have a
general meeting and a presentation by Dee Wardell and Joe Ashby
on their recent trip to Indonesia.
Looking ahead, please save these dates:
Nov. 14, San Diego by Land and Sea. First, we will have a
100-minute, fully-narrated tour aboard a Hydra-Terra winding
our way through the streets of San Diego by the Harbor before
splashing down for a cruise of the Bay. Aer lunch, we'll board our
private Old Town Trolley for a two-hour guided tour of San Diego.
Dec. 17 is another Club favorite … dinner and a night of touring
four incredible neighborhoods around San Diego featuring
outstanding holiday lights and other decorations.
You will receive an email confirming your registration when
we have 25 people signed up for the trip. Detailed trip flyers are
always available in the Trip Rack located near the Clubhouse front
desk. Frequently people on a trip need to cancel. So, many people
on our wait lists actually have had the opportunity to go on our
trips.
To be placed on the waitlist or to register for any of our trips,
leave a check made out to the OH Travel Club, in the Travel Club
envelope at the Clubhouse Front Desk. Add $5 to the price if you
are not a member of the Club. You will receive an email confirming
your registration.
We certainly hope you will join us on one of our trips or at one
of our programs!
