MULTI-DAY EXCURSIONS Sept. 4 – 13: Great Smoky Mountains, Nashville & Kentucky Sept. 24- 27: Muir Woods, Monterey & San Luis Obispo Oct. 16 – 31: Greek Isles, Italy & France Dec. 15 – 17: Hearst Castle at Christmas Health & More TECH TALK Wed., Sept. 11, 9 to 10 am in the Meeting Room. If you need help with The Colony Box Office or have questions about your cellphone or tablet, come to the Meeting Room the second Wednesday of each month and we will help you. There is no cost to attend and no need to RSVP. CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP ursday, Sept. 12, 10 am in the Lounge. Presented by Kristi Necochea, this group educates and supports those who are caring for a loved one with any ailment. We meet the second Thursday of each month. HEARING AID CHECK ursday, Sept. 19, 9 to 10:30 am. This free service is provided by Johnson & Johnson every third Thursday of the month in the Clubhouse Card Room. RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH MELISSA - MIND & BODY Tuesdays, 8:30 am; ursdays, 7 pm in the Annex. First class is $15 and may be used toward membership. Membership is $80 per month and includes two classes per week. Drop-ins are $15 per session. Ten memberships per month minimum to retain instructor. Beginners welcome. ATTENTION MEN'S SOFTBALL PLAYERS The Menifee Senior Softball League (MSSL), which has been active for over 21 years, will begin its Fall Season in September. There will be a minimal charge, yet to be determined. All softball players are welcome to join. The Colony Health & Safety Fair Friday, Oct. 18, 10 am to 1 pm, Clubhouse. Mark your calendar for this very popular annual event. It's free and will take place in the Clubhouse from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be flu shots, and lots of goodies are always available from the vendors. Classic Buzz Saturday, Oct. 26, 6:30 pm, Auditorium. Don't delay, these tickets are in demand and will sell out. Playing rock and roll classics from the '60s, '70s and mostly the '80s, and led by front man Joey Molina, Rick Lake on keyboard and guitar, Dave Grube on electric guitar, Steve Payne on bass and Michael Aguilar on drums, they are reviving a tired genre of music and giving it a whole new look. Their forte would be the music of Journey, GNR, AC/DC and all the greats from those decades. Tickets are $12 per person with assigned seating. The dance floor will be open to bust a move! SALUTE TO VETERANS 2024 Event Monday, Nov. 11. We are preparing now to honor all veterans, past and present, for the 2024 Veterans Day Ball.
