"Down on the Corner" of Florita and Colony Drive, Creedence
Relived was in the house! And this "Travelin' Band" put on quite
the show for us CCR fans! Creedence Relived was the complete
experience. They played our favorite hits, the dance floor was
packed, the band completely rocked it, and the lead vocalist nailed
his rendition of John Fogarty.
As an added bonus, the concert lighting by our CATCOM
(Communications & Technology Committee) members Greg
Bennett and Mike Vergara was the icing on the cake. According
to Lauren Tyson, the drummer's incredible drum solo featured
an on-the-spot light show by Greg and Mike. During "Midnight
Special," Mike rotated the white spotlight throughout the audience
to "let the Midnight Special, shine a light on [us]." So cool!
Well, "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" that if we like them
enough, they may come "Up Around the Bend" again for another
outstanding show. Let's just "Keep on Chooglin!"
