Expressing Gratitude
ere aren't enough words to thank everyone who reached out with their donations for Travis and me.
Unfortunately, my husband lost his battle with cancer and passed away July 2, 2024 at 12:22 pm. I still remember
those words he would always say, "I just want to get better so I can go back to work to see everyone." Travis and I were
by his side along with family and friends. My husband will be dearly missed by Travis and me. Mike worked hard
and was a very good provider for us and made sure we were always taken care of.
Mike worked at Four Seasons for 10 years and enjoyed his job and all the people he connected with. He never took a
vacation in those 10 years because he wanted to make sure his family was taken care of and also made sure to support
our grandson (son) in baseball. Travis is a fantastic catcher and it made Mike and me so happy to watch his moves.
Mike and I raised Travis from newborn and he has brought so much joy in our lives and gave us both a lot of
happiness. Travis never wanted to hear the words stepdad because in Travis' eyes Mike was his Dad and Travis would
definitely let you know.
Again I want to thank everyone who reached out from your hearts to help Travis and me. God bless you all with
love from our hearts.
With love, Jan R. Newmeyer & Travis
