October is full of fun! e Social Committee is presenting the Ghoulish Gala on Oct. 26 and the Golf Cart Club is hosting the Annual Halloween Cart Parade on the 27th. Both are great opportunities to show o our lighter side. Another amazing production by the Four Seasons Players this month and our nal Music on the Plaza for the season nishing o with Big Revenge! Congratulations to Tracie Long, our longtime Lodge Attendant on her upcoming wedding — it's wonderful to hear that she has put so much eort into planning her special day. I'm sure it will be a beautiful celebration of her unique style. In the meantime, Sonia's (from the Bistro) wedding picture (at le) is a lovely reminder of the joy these celebrations bring. It's great to see the community coming together to celebrate these milestones. I'm looking forward to seeing Tracie's wedding photo when it becomes available! I am also looking forward to all the upcoming holidays; we are going to have so much FUN! Side note: I sat down to write my article and something else was on my mind. Maybe some of you can relate. With each new decade comes awareness and understanding of self. I view life in a very linear way most times and other times like a shaken box of puzzle pieces. I suppose it's both. Some moments I get lucky and a few pieces are already connected. On occasion I see the image come together in a few fast steps. e forcing of two pieces that seem to t but shouldn't be forced. Oh, a corner piece, is it upside down? e clean lines of the frame. And just when you are complete you nd that you are a piece short, ugh! Place it on the shelf and start on a new shaken box. I feel understanding and awareness are like nding those missing pieces and nally getting to see the big picture. Maybe I wasn't strong enough to li what it was hiding under. Or paying attention to it sitting right underfoot or it is just mixed in someone else's box. ank you to those who have passed me some of my pieces. To those who see the picture when I'm stuck and sit beside me to create a beautiful image. And to those that I may hold your missing pieces, I am holding them with love and care until the time is right. 4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2024 | From Your Activities Director By Tracie Rodgers
