Adrienne Nims and Spirit Wind thoroughly entertained us with a
wonderful evening of songs, music and laughter on Oct. 7. We look
forward to having her back again – and soon!

In case you were wondering who Phyllis Buvel is and what Theatre
Arts means to her, read on:
"Hi, my name is Phyllis Buvel and I am the treasurer of Theatre
Arts. I bought my home in OHCC in July of 2009 and started as
treasurer shortly after that. I may not know your face (probably not)
but I am familiar with your name. I keep the list of our members
who have paid their dues and I receive your checks when you paid
to come to our party on the Lanai last month.
"At one of the first Do Dues Day I attended, I said what everyone
who is asked to join Theatre Arts says, "I can't act!" I joined anyway
and did a little acting. Really though, we need people who can do a
variety of tasks, not just actors.
"I really enjoy the friends and activities that make up this fun
club. So, I will stay as treasurer for another year!"
We're always looking for good entertainment. If you know of
someone whom you think the community would appreciate, please

On Nov. 4, some very talented neighbors who are members of Play
Readers' Workshop will entertain us with readings from various
plays. You won't want to miss this performance!
Our next regular Board meeting will be Oct. 16 at 11 am and is
open to all Theatre Arts members.
