Our schedule for October: Sat., Oct. 5, 8 am: Mixed Doubles Mixer (free, balls supplied). All residents of Sun Lakes are welcome to participate. Mon., Oct. 14, 6 pm: Intermediate Clinic (Pre-Register)/$2 for club members and $5 for non-members (limit of 12). Fri., Oct. 18 to Sun., Oct. 20: Men's Doubles Tournament (time TBD)/pizza on patio ($5). Best of all, the Tennis Club will host a Victorian Halloween Masquerade Affaire on Sun., Oct. 20 starting at 5 pm in the South Clubhouse. Tennis Club members and guests will be transported back to the 1800s for a Victorian-Era Halloween Masquerade Affaire. So, gentlemen, dust off your top hats and vintage coats; and, ladies, don't forget your fascinators and elegant masks for this magical evening. A catered dinner will be offered along with scrumptious treats. Dancing and spooky surprises will add to the mystery and the fun. Member cost will be $15 and $20 for guests. Please prepare to register and pay your meal cost in advance. Finally, there are those in the club who drop-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 am while many others, both men and women, fill the courts with various forms of organized play. We invite all Sun Lakes residents to enjoy the use of our excellent facilities so long as basic rules of courtesy and dress, as posted, are observed. New members are now invited to join for the balance of 2024 for half-price, $5.
