Ladies Executive Golf
The summer heat didn't stop our members from playing golf.
Last month's putting contest had a lot of participants and two of our
members, Judy Grant and Georgeanne Shuey tied for the win. Good
putting, ladies!
Our club participated in the annual Women for Hope Charity
Tournament where the proceeds support the Banning Broncos Girls
Golf Team, the San Jacinto Eagles Girls Golf Team and Michele's
Place – a Women's Cancer Resource Center. A luncheon followed
with both a live and silent auction. We congratulate all the winners
of the tournament.
Our members supported the Sun Lakes Charity Safari Putting
Contest by participating and enjoying a fun day of golf. A luncheon
followed on the Veranda which included a 50/50 raff le and great
prizes.
Activities Day gives new residents an opportunity to investigate all
the clubs we have available in Sun Lakes. Having a table at this event
gave our club an opportunity to speak to prospective new golfers to
inform them about our fun-loving group of golfing ladies and all
the fun events we plan during the year. New members were offered
a $25 annual membership fee which included playing golf for the
remainder of 2024 as well as for the entire year of 2025. Activities
Day had a great turnout and gave us an opportunity to say hello to
our friends and neighbors who stopped by our table.
We invite you to come out and play a round of golf with our fun-
loving ladies. Contact Martie Steggell at (951) 769-3217 or Jane
Roseblade at (714) 220-8807 (Membership Co-Chairpersons) and
we'll be happy to take you out on the golf course. Our dues are
$25 yearly for all existing members and we also offer an Associate
Membership for $10 yearly for those ladies who don't play golf but
want to participate in all the social activities and attend the monthly
lunch/business meeting. Renewal forms for 2025 will be available
on Nov. 1 in the North Clubhouse.
Janet Fleming shot a hole-in-one on
hole #1 on the Executive Course.
